TESOL Quarterly Coeditors Reappointed

by Juliet Mason |

TESOL International Association is pleased to announce the reappointment of Peter De Costa and Charlene Polio as coeditors of TESOL Quarterly through June 2026. De Costa and Polio, both professors in the Department of Linguistics, Languages, and Cultures at Michigan State University (MSU), have been coeditors of TESOL Quarterly since March 2017.

“Peter and Charlene have exemplified leadership in their first term,” stated TESOL’s Executive Director Amber Crowell Kelleher, MBA, CAE. “I look forward to seeing where they take TESOL Quarterly in the next 3 years.” In accepting this appointment De Costa and Polio shared “our priorities for a second term are to diversify the editorial board and the journal’s editorial leadership composition, make TESOL Quarterly articles more accessible, revitalize and recast the forum section of the journal, and explore ways for TESOL Quarterly to be involved in open science practices.”
