  • organize a unified paragraph around one central idea
  • construct a coherent paragraph by
    • repeating key nouns
    • using consistent pronouns
    • using transition signals to link ideas
    • arranging ideas in logical order
  • write, revise, and edit a paragraph about health and medicine
